Rhedd Baron's Santa's Texas Ride is a twist on the classic "Night Before Christmas" poem, following Mr. and Mrs. Claus on their magic stagecoach led by a wild team of horses.
A New Crew
Like his familiar reindeer, here Santa drives Lone Star, Two-Step, Blue Belle, and Wonder; Ranger, Beauty, Lightning, and Thunder!
The Clauses get a western makeover with their 10-gallon hats and cowboy boots.

To me, the most special part of this book is the depiction of Baron's brother, reading to his nieces, whom he never had the chance to meet.
